Happy Mother's Day Kristy!

It is amazing hown fast time has flown by.  It seems only yesterday we were dealing with the "not Lexi" surprise; but here we are 15 years later with three quite grown up kiddos. 

I know I say it a lot, and you always try to deny it or push my comments off.  But Kristy, you are a great mom.   Not without faults or mistakes, but you are a great mom and our kids have been so blessed because of you.  I am SO very proud of you.  It has been fun to see the love you have shared with our kids over the years.  I have observed the constant sacrifices you have made for them; prioritizing their best interests above yours; always.  I know you have prayed for them daily.  You have cried with them.  You have coached and taught them.  You have yelled at them - and challenged them to be better.  This is just a sample - but what makes you a great mom is that you are giving yourself to them.  Sometimes raw, but always you - and that is all they need.

I know that you have been dealt a raw deal with me being out of the country for the 2nd straight Mother's Day - I am sorry!  But just know that I hope and pray you have an awesome day.  I hope you and the kids have a great day where you all will continue to grow in your love for each other -- resting and laughing together.  Just take it all in - as the time will continue to slip by so fast.
